French Introduction
France was AWESOME! Sure I had a traditional 5 course French dinner with Greg’s family the first night there - good food, good French cheese, and really good Italian wine. We watched Le Tour Eiffel sparkle from the top floor flat at midnight. And we even toured the city by night and by day.
But the real fun happened at the country cottages 45 minutes due west of Paris. Wow. I had an absolute blast. There were 3 cottages, a swimming pool w/diving board, a tennis court, and about 15 French people - all very good people.
Some highlights - I dominatd the French at their own drinking game - yes, they’ve proclaimed me the national champion; I kissed a cute French girl (ok, she’s Portugese but has lived in France basically her whole life! and it was only an innocent peck on the lips); I ate extremely well; and I made some great friends.
I have a ton of stories and will try to briefly share them. But its going to be tough figuring out which ones to tell! The next three weeks in France will be interesting and entertaining, at the least =P
